FAQs

Can I trade-in items from other brands?

Yes absolutely. The Little Loop accept clean, wearable kids' clothes from 150+ brands - all in one place, all in one go. Just add them into your preloved closet when you get there.

Do I have to pay for postage?

Postage is completely free when you trade in 10 or more items, so dig into that wardrobe and make it count. You will receive an email with simple steps on how to process your pre-paid shipping label.

How is the trade-in value calculated?

The trade-in value is calculated as a share of the item's resale price.

Your share will vary depending upon how high that price is. This varies from 20% if it resells for less than £5, up to 50% if it resells for more than £35.

The Little Loop calculate resale price using their pricing tool which looks at brand, RRP, condition and selling prices on other sites. The Little Loop always aim to sell your items for a price which is as fair as possible.

What happens to the clothes I send in?

Every item is assessed by a member of The Little Loops expert team. If it is clean, wearable and from a brand they sell, you will automatically receive credit (see above for how they calculate credit). The item will then be steamed, and any defects photographed before being listed for sale.

The Little Loop conditions are:

Brand new: Never worn and/or with tags
Excellent: Like new, no imperfections.
Very Good: Used a few times, but still looks great.
Good: Obviously worn with some signs of wear but no significant stains or damage
Satisfactory: Used a lot and may have minor stains or defects

If an item cannot be sold it will be donated to a baby bank partner or recycled by a UK recycling partner.
